How long does a round of golf take?
An 18-hole round normally takes 4 to 4.5 hours for a foursome walking, and around 2 hours for 9 holes. Two or three players typically get around in 3.5 to 4 hours. Anything over 5 hours for 18 holes feels slow to most people, and is usually caused by queues – not the players’ skill level.
