What we often hear
The objections we meet in the clubhouse, and what we answer.
«We don't have a pace problem here.»
Then we use the pilot season to document it. If the numbers show you average 4:10, you have an argument to use with the members who complain. If they show something else, you finally know which holes are to blame.
«Our players will never download yet another app.»
They don't have to. The app opens in the browser — no account, no login. Those who want to can add it to their home screen. We ask for one tap: allow location, once.
«We already have a course marshal.»
Then the marshal gets a tool. Today they drive around searching. With the dashboard they see which group is behind, on which hole, and can make one targeted trip instead of five.
«GPS drains the battery.»
We do not track continuously. Location is read when the player passes a zone or opens the app, and the calculation happens on the phone. A full round typically costs a few percent of battery.
«What about privacy and GDPR?»
We store location tied to a group, not to a person. Players never enter a name or email. The processing is described in our privacy policy, and the club can request deletion at any time.
«We need to integrate with our booking system first.»
No. We do not need booking data to measure pace. Tee time can be set manually or read when the group passes the first tee. Integration can come later if you want it.
