GDPR, your rights and cookies

For players: consent. You grant access to location and notifications, and can withdraw it at any time.

For club and administrator accounts: contract, since processing is necessary to deliver the service the club ordered.

You can always:

• Request access to the data we hold about you
• Have incorrect data corrected
• Have your data deleted (the "right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent for location and notifications
• Complain to your national data protection authority

Player without an account: turn off location and notifications for the app and clear browser storage for GolfAppen. The anonymous device ID disappears and rounds can no longer be linked to your device.

Want us to delete historical rounds for a device or tee time, or delete your account? Get in touch via the contact form at golfappen.no/en/contact. We normally respond within 30 days.

We use no tracking or marketing cookies, and there are no ad networks in the app.

• Necessary local storage: language, light/dark mode, anonymous device ID and measurements waiting to sync
• Sign-in information for club and administrator accounts
• No third-party advertising or tracking cookies

We use subprocessors for hosting and database (within the EU/EEA), email delivery and push notifications via Apple and Google. All process data on our instructions and only to deliver the service.

Data is transferred encrypted, and the database enforces row-level access rules so clubs only see their own data. Administrator access is role-based.
